It was 70 degrees out today here in New England, my toddler wore his Halloween costume to the park, I’m still dipping into his candy haul and I heard Christmas music on the radio today.
You know what that means – Thanksgiving is coming.
We don’t skip over Thanksgiving and head straight for Christmas at this house. I have some autumn décor out and love to decorate my kids’ little book nook for the upcoming holiday.
I got this cute pumpkin garland from Etsy, and stuck some pine cones and fake leaves all around. I have an old Ty stuffed bear dressed as a pumpkin (I still have some Beanie Babies hanging around too, how could I part with them?)
We read the holiday books downstairs and try and use them as a way to teach our kids about what Holidays are all about (so far my kids know that turkeys say “gobble gobble” – we have a ways to go).
Here’s a list of some toddler board books I’ve rounded up for you and your little ones.
