My oldest son is allergic to wheat (and peanuts!), so we have had to make some adjustments to accommodate his diet at our house.
We all wind up eating gluten free a lot of the time just to make things easy! I’ve made quite a few gluten free baked goods, and these donuts are up at the top of the list. Not just as a gluten free favorite but as an all time favorite.
These baked donuts from Gluten Free on a Shoestring are so good. They are light and airy, and taste just as good as the apple cider donuts you would get at an orchard in the fall.
You can’t beat having an apple cider donut at the farm so we brought a tupperware full of his gluten free donuts right to the orchard! And bonus – it made my house smell delicious.
