I think my kids’ playroom sparks the most joy for me during the holidays.

I love their little tree! Which honestly, is on it’s side looking disheveled most of the time but what can you do. It makes me smile even when I set it back upright 20 times a day.

Heads up – some Amazon Affiliate links below. If you cick and make a purchase I may receive a small commission at no cost to you.

I used a basket from HomeGoods for a tree collar.

The playroom tree is full of unbreakable felt ornaments mostly from West Elm and a colorful felt ball garland. It was decorated with crazy toddlers in mind.

I love the felt star tree topper from West Elm. Looks like it’s not available but here’s a cute knit option from Target and here’s another one from Etsy.

I layered in some small white lights and some bigger bulbs.

My guys’ seasonal bookshelf is full of classic books (check out this post for more detail on our favorite books!). I layered a homemade orange garland, and a neutral gingerbread garland from a cute shop on Etsy.

Mercury glass battery operated string lights are from Michaels.

This retro countdown to Christmas sign is from Target and lives on top of the play kitchen (check out the full tutorial on how to makeover the IKEA DUKTIG).

Bottle brush trees, Rudolph and this pillow are from Target as well!

Last Target item is the dried boxwood wreath that I hung with this farmhouse red stripe ribbon.

The mini dried boxwood wreath I found on Amazon.

Snowflake window clings are subtle but festive!

Santa and the joy pillow were HomeGoods finds.

I hope this Christmas playroom tour has brought some inspo for your own space!

Happy Holidays!
